I have been a film critic for the past 12 years and a member of the Broadcast Film Critics Association since 2009. I currently review movies for radio stations across Iowa and Illinois. As of April 2011 I am a member of the Broadcast Television Journalists Association. My goal as a critic and as a pop culture writer is to start conversations, civil, intelligent conversations about things happening in our popular culture. My opinions are not the final opinion on any topic but one that is well informed and passing along what I feel is important information on the topics at hand in order to engage and inform and begin a conversation.
